Finance Notes January 2017
Finance Notes January 2017
January:
We agreed to a revision of the $250,000 loan due January 2017 to extend it to January 2018; Treasurer Jan Werness signed the revised contract, authorized to do so by Lulu Phillips, Council/Trustees Chair.
. We received the 2016 year end financial reports and analysis by Carrie, our financial staff:
Payroll expense appears to be over by 3k, and rentals as well. However! we paid Ignacio 3,045 for site management, so if you include that as a rental expense rather than a payroll expense, both numbers are right on budget. Overall Operating expense we lost about 2k, excluding apportionments. Counting apportionments we lost 16k. The gap (other than apportionment fundraising being $0) comes from being 5k under budget on fundraising. In every other area we met or exceeded our budget goals. Meal fund came out in the black! We spent about 8k from the capitol fund on equipment and repairs.
. We recommended to the SPRC that Carrie get the same pay raise that Pastor Walter is getting from the Methodist Annual Conference.
