Walker Church Council
November 25, 2014
Present: Mary Parker, Walter Lockhart, Allyson Hayward, Jennifer Gahnstrom, Jan Werness, K.C. Bretzke, Al Hildenbrand, Greg Garman, Nancy Larsen.
The minutes were approved as read.
KC stated the Staff Parish Relations Committee has completed their evaluations of Walter and Jennifer. A safer church draft will go to the congregation for approval. We will welcome all and make a contract with each sexual offender who attends. Once the draft is approved a version of the policy will be posted on the Walker web site.
Al said that the parsonage has been listed for sale.
KC said that the Art Fair raised$1300.
We are thinking of renting out Walter”s office to a non-profit. We are developing a 3 ring binder to be kept in the kitchen.
Al praised the new web site which Deb Ramage created.
Allyson stated that will start making nominations for committee chair after Thanksgiving.
KC volunteered to be Finance Committee Chair.
The meeting was adjourned.
The next Church Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 27 at 7:45 pm.
