Walker Movie Night: Wed, Nov. 5 at 6:30. We will watch “Babette’s Feast”, a beautiful film by Gabriel Axel. It takes place in the mid-1800’s in Denmark, so for many of us Northern European types, these are our ancestors. The film is good food for thought and we will have a chance to talk about it! Free Hot Buttered Popcorn and beverages!
Dance the Creation Rehearsals: Thurs, Nov 6, 7 to 9 pm (& Sun, Nov 9, noon to 2 pm/ Thurs, Nov 13, 7 to 9 pm/Sun, Nov 16, noon to 2 pm/Thurs, Nov 20, 7 to 9 pm/Sat, Nov 22, 4 to 6 pm.) The dance will be performed during Sunday Celebration on Nov 23 & 30, and Dec 7. If you want to join the dancers, you need have no previous dance experience. The Fireroast Mountain Boys- Still on Fire: Saturday, November 8, 7pm. The Fireroast Mountain Boys are recording live and invite you back to laugh, applaud and sing a long again with us. We’re also featuring a special guitarist option; play along on Guitar Jam as we try to set a new record for number of guitars on one song at Walker Church (currently the record is 17) and there will be a never before recorded Howard Kranz song.
