Are You Ready For Chinese New Year?
The last Full moon in the Year of the Monkey was on January 12. For the next two weeks as the moon is waning, people all around the world get ready for the Lunar New Year which will begin with the New Moon on Friday, Jan 27th at about 6pm in Mpls. It is the year of The Rooster.
While the moon is waning try to clean your house. Sweep out all the bad luck that has accumulated over the past year. You can dust, you can vacuum, you can even wash windows. Throw all those broken things away, they are bad luck, and they should be removed. Heck, what else are you going to do in January? If you are like me, there may not be time to do everything, so choose your battles accordingly.
Then as the 27th approaches schedule a haircut, buy a new outfit, then order Chinese for a feast with friends and family. Be at Walker’s Sunday Celebration on January 29 for a special performance to celebrate the Year of the Rooster! Emily Peabody
