Building and Grounds Meeting Minutes
May 10, 2017
Those present: Ed Ed Mueller, Al Hildenbrand, Walter Lockhart, Allyson Hayward
Minutes of the last meeting of the Buildings & Grounds, Apr. 12, 2017, are approved as read.
Ed Ed moved and Al seconded that a proposal from Built Environments, of Stillwater, MN, to assess the basement water incursion for $3,600.00 be approved. Passed. The amount of the expenditure is such that the Council must also approve the expenditure. Ed Ed will present the proposal and the report of the Building and Grounds Committee action to Lu Lu Phillips for an electronic Council vote.
Discussion of lawn development ensued. Scott’s Turf Builder applied with a rolling spreader was arrived at. Attention is to be paid upon not applying to the water garden plants.
Ed Ed reported fixing the Front Entry Vestibule inside door automatic closer attachment to the wood of the door.
The Basement has had office cubical partition panels stored for some time. Originally it was thought the panels would help in partitioning areas of the Basement, but this thought is now abandoned. The office cubical partition panels may be given away to others in order to get them out of the Basement.
A set of platform risers stored in the Basement may be given away in order to get them out of the Basement.
The Storage Room in the SE corner of the Sanctuary has been the storage space for the tall folding ladder that permits Sanctuary Light maintenance. To date, the chair storage and ladder storage have been in common. A ladder lift has been purchased that will allow the ladder to be stored on the ceiling away for the chairs. It is yet to be installed.
Meeting adjourned.
