Sunday Celebration in Powderhorn Park: June 7 at 10 am is our first Sunday Celebration in the park this summer. It is held near the corner of 33rd Street & 14th Avenue. Other Celebrations in the park will be June 21, July 5 & 19, Aug 2, 16 & 30. In case of rain the celebrations will be held at church.

Prisoner letter writing night: Thurs, June 4, 7 to 9 pm. The first of Twin Cities Anti-Repression letter-writing nights that will be held the first Thursday of every month at Walker with a different prisoner is featured each time. folks! What does it mean that success is a dangerous as failure?
Whether you go up the ladder or down it, your position is shaky.
When you stand with your two feet on the ground, you will always keep your balance.
What does it mean that hope is as hollow as fear?
Hope and fear are both phantoms that arise from thinking of the self.
When we don’t see the self as self, what do we have to fear?
See the world as yourself. Have faith in the way things are.
Love the world as yourself; then you can care for all things.

Bluegrass and Old Time Music Jam: Mon, June 29 7 pm to 10 pm. Coming late and leaving early is okay. The jam is for folks of all abilities. It is not necessarily church music. Everyone, who wants to, gets to choose and lead several songs. Listeners are also welcome.

Margo McCreary needs socks: I need socks for a project: socks that go up above the ankle at least: socks who have lost their mate, socks without holes, socks that are not too soiled from long use, they can be kid or adult socks.
