Minutes of the August 9, 2017, meeting were read and approved.
Piano appraisal update: Warren has done the work of re-pinning the pin board. Jennifer is to contact Warren to do a final tune the week before the Unity Concert. Al, Kent and Jim McCreary have evaluated the present tune as good. Sally K. & Cheryl C. will be solicited for their opinions.
Cabinetry install in Conference Room was discussed. Refinishing is to be done soon. Installation was approved.
Jennifer & Ed Ed to get together to go over building use policy.
A more condensed fee structure for talking with people who are doing initial asking needs to be written down.
Jennifer discussed safety procedures re getting cleaning supplies for Ignacio and for the mininimum safe procedures for physical care of the building.
Bath locksets have been ordered.
No updated report on the elevator basement call modification.
Storage use by Ace In The City, Walker rummage and Sunday Celebration discussed. Firefighter (in full gear) access to Electrical Service Disconnects and keeping walls clear of stored material discussed.
HVAC filter physical dimensions, make and model specs to be recorded by Jennifer
16th Ave S electric door operation discussed. Jennifer again reports finding the electrically assisted door ajar, being held open by the failure of the mechanical latching mechanism to allow full, secure closure. A 1″ H x 2″ W x 4″ L block of aluminum or brass can be shaped to solve the issue.
