The Tao doesn’t take sides;
it gives birth to both good and evil.
The Master doesn’t take sides;
she welcomes both saints and sinners. The Tao is like a bellows:
it is empty yet infinitely capable.
The more you use it, the more it produces;
the more you talk of it, the less you understand. Hold on to the center.

Welcome, Announcements & Offering
Reading: Mark 13:1-8 NRSV
1 As he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher, what large stones and what large buildings!”
2 Then Jesus asked him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left here upon another; all will be thrown down.”
3 When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
4 “Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign that all these things are about to be accomplished?”
5 Then Jesus began to say to them, “Beware that no one leads you astray.
6 Many will come in my name and say, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray.
7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed; this must take place, but the end is still to come.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. This is but the beginning of the birthpangs.

Come out for a beautiful evening of music and community to fuel the fight against Line 3! Co-hosted by MN350: Building a Climate Movement in Minnesota and Honor the Earth, this concert will feature the music of Annie Humphrey Music and Keith Secola Band, with local opener Freaque. Learn about how we are fighting Line 3 and how the resistance to Line 3 is growing. Line 3 is a proposed tar sands oil pipeline that would cut through Minnesota, causing irreparable harm to our waters. The pipeline route also encroaches on treaty-protected territory where the Ojibwe retain the right to hunt, fish, and harvest wild rice, thus breaking these treaties. Finally, the pipeline would increase our dependence on oil, hitting the accelerator on global warming. Indigenous communities, landowners, water protectors, environmentalists, and thousands of other Minnesotans have been resisting this pipeline for years. The fight continues, and we need your help. Learn about how to become involved at the Stop Line 3 Concert. Saturday November 17th | 6:30pm | $15 In The Heart of the Beast Theater 1500 East Lake Street Mpls.
