Lao Tzu # 34 followed by 5 minutes of silence
The great Tao flows everywhere.
All things are born from it,
yet it doesn’t create them.
It pours itself into its work,
yet it makes no claim.
It nourishes infinite worlds,
yet it doesn’t hold on to them.
Since it is merged with all things
and hidden in their hearts,
it can be called humble.
Since all things vanish into it
and it alone endures,
it can be called great.
It isn’t aware of its greatness;
thus it is truly great.

Special Performance by Mary Parker & Howard Kranz
Scripture Reading Romans 13:8-14 by Cheryl Kramer
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is now the moment for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we became believers; the night is far gone, the day is near. Let us then lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; let us live honorably as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy. Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

GARDEN SEASON IS NOT OVER YET!! We have potentially weeks, even a couple of months before frost. Our first frost did not happen in 2016 until November, leaving gardens still looking beautiful and in need of weeding through that time. Volunteers are needed to please sign up for a weeding session. There is a signup sheet hanging on the wall of the celebration space next to the door to the courtyard. You may do the weeding at any time during the week that is convenient. If it is your first time weeding the courtyard gardens, please schedule a meeting with Janet Skidmore before weeding.

We received this thank you note from The Story:
To the incredibly generous Walker Community,
First and foremost, a deeply heartfelt thank you for being such gracious hosts to us the last two years. You made this place feel like home to us (and you do that for so many in our community.) While we are very excited for what the future holds as we move to Sunday mornings at Powderhorn Park; it is bittersweet to be leaving this space. I pray for God’s richest blessings on your community, both now and into the future.
With grateful hearts, Matt and all the folk at the Story.
