Trustees Meeting Minutes
October 12, 2016
Those present: Walter Lockhart, Ed Ed Mueller, Al Hildenbrand, Wayne Bailey, K. C. Bretzke, Harlan Seelhoff, Becky Hanson, Trenk Ebbighausen, Bitsy
Minutes of the last meeting are approved as read.
Heating analysis presented, showing Before Insulation, After Insulation, and After Lightning. Walker is using less natural gas to heat the building and tap hot water now, in 2016, than it was in the years immediately before the fire (after the old Walker was insulated).
Rummage report ~$4500. Good sale.
Sanctuary floor SE corner wood floor finish is showing the wear of use. Ignacio is not interested in working the large sanctuary parties. Large parties using the whole building is being reconsidered.
K.C. moved and Trenk seconded not placing a heavy bench and trash receptacle on the north side of Walker. Discussion ensued.
Al moved and Ed Ed seconded tabling K.C.’s bench motion until the issues raised by Jennifer and the neighbors can be adressed and an implementation plan can be developed. Passed.
Walter has offered to research a surveillance camera system. The police are to be contacted for recommendations of what to surveil. Checking with tenants, neighbors, and the police department is to be done. Al noted that there is a computer (currently only used to log in to the HVAC system) in the 1st floor janitor’s closet that is available for Digital Video Recording (DVR) use by a new surveillance system.
The SPRC performance evaluation for Jennifer was discussed by the Trustees, as requested by SPRC. A Trustee committee of three will meet with Jennifer.
Washer Dryer feet are discussed and a path forward is considered.
All day parking on 31st, on Sundays? Any news? No.
